The most important way to treat tendonitis is to just rest and let it heal on its own. You can take inflammatory medications is you wish. I personality like to do everything without the aid of drugs. Remember “RICE” Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. why do my wrist hurt i want to build muscle but when i lift i cant do alot because of my wrist was told i have a cyst but in both of them? they dont look any diff than anyone elses

  2. If you have a ganglion cyst wearing a wrist splint on for several weeks will limit the movement of the wrist, which helps reduce the fluid that collects within the ganglion sac. You shouldnt be worried about building muscle if you have a injury. Injury recovery is first then worry about muscle after you are 100%.

  3. hey datsnotsexy, just subbed to your channel – extremely helpful. I'm going to make sure I do this. I've got a strained chest (left pectoral) and I rested it for a month before I got back into the gym. I went light on my first couple workouts and the pain is back!! I iced it, and then heated it for the remaining days prior..any advice would be greatly appreciated! I just want to be injury free and train. left elbow has given me a prob for abt the same time as the pec. great channel! keep it up

  4. If it hurts when you extend your arm. If you feel a pain behind the elbow joint. If its swollen, if it burns and if its really stiff then you have it. P.S Youre not stupid ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Is it possible to get tendonitis from constantly sleeping on your arm?

I don't really work out, but I often wake up with my arm under me, then It's really stiff. I actually haven't been able to fully extend it for a couple of years now.

  6. No tendonitis comes from over working the tendon. You are compressing the radial nerve, and this causes paralysis. You lack the blood circulation to your extremities and thats why you feel it numb and stiff. Try sleeping on your back as sleeping on your stomach especially with your arms under the pillow will cause this to happen. Hope it helps ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. my elbow pain appeared out of no where(maybe, as i dont remember getting hurt ever)….. now i cant straighten my arm…to the full extent….1-2 days without extending the arm cures it, but then when i punch(i am a martial artist in muay thai and karate), it starts to pain again. i cant even do a simple cartwheel as it needs to straighten my arm completely…. is this the same problem??? please reply!!! if not, do help me, atleast with a name, so that i can search about it… thank you!

  13. As I attempt to straighten my elbow it "gets stuck" I power thru and it pops. I feel minimal pain but I do feel a pull when I straighten my arm. I have stopped weight lifting due to the pain. What could it be.

  14. I have taken a month off from lifting upper body, and my tennis elbow still hurts with certain movements or if i move something a little heave. How long does it take to heal so that I can get back to lifting upper body?

  15. Thanks Alex. I started to take fish oil last week. I, also, have been doing some stretching. I hope to go back and lift light within the next two weeks. I am starting to notice some improvement. I even bought a tennis elbow brace. I wear it at work.

  16. I've had a pain in my elbow for a long time now.. Since junior high and it's been almost 2 years since I graduated. I got this injury only in my right arm and I know for a fact it''s due to a snap I used to do, kind of like when people pop their knuckles, but I would make what feels like my shoulder popping. The injury was bad for a while and the pain was too much for me to lift, after giving it about 6 months to rest I was finally able to lift again for a while, then when I got a job of overnight stocking at walmart, the injury came back too much because the job is very laborous. The stocking itself doesn't render my injury unbearable but I can't seem to be able to lift AND do my job.. the only lifting I can really do is flies, and lateral raises, and once maybe twice a week or even those start to give me pain in my elbow. My shoulder has hurt before from this injury from to this day it's fine, it's just my elbow giving me problems. I ordered some abstraps due to scooby's suggestion and am hoping I can do a bit more without pain so I don't loose my muscles…ย
