  1. i wanna weight lift but i "cant" or more like wont is bc:
    1) im 15 ma dood
    2) i have a total of 3 knee injuries and 2 spine injuries
    3) i have no time, im way too busy studying (must be asian, not the bsian yaknow)
    4) i have no cash after spending everything on kpop sIGH HAHAHHA

  2. Hey, she needs to keep her knees from caving in when she gets close to her max. If she does that consistently she can really screw up her knees for when she gets older. It wears the cartilage down prematurely.

  3. Michelle's squat was awful. The cave-in in the knee-joint was horrendous. The men did quarter squats. Boxsquats at way above parallel. This was embarrassing to watch.

  4. I find it amazing that after decades of weight training being the number one fitness activity in America all these misconceptions still exist. If you want to lose fat you need to lift heavy to build muscle—-FACT. Muscle burns fat 24 hours per day where as you can pump light weights all day long and it won't do a damn thing for you. And FYI, fat cannot be "shredded" you imbecile.

  5. He doesn’t lift to build muscle lol. People have no clue how much effort it takes to get “bulky”. They think if one day they “lift heavy” then they’ll suddenly turn into Arnold. Trust me bro, lift however much you think will make you “build muscle” and you will lean out and not be bulky at all. You might even up your testosterone and realize you shouldn’t be working for buzzfeed!

  6. "I'm confident with my technique" goes ahead and snatches with no technique at all and wouldn't have a good lift with bent elbow and does box squats instead of an actual squat.

  7. What he said at 3:03 is backwards. You want the heavy weight to move as quickly and efficiently as lighter weight. Ughhhhhh these people are stronger than they know. And that old dude is box squatting which isn't actually squatting. It's an accessory to the squat.
