Spiritual Weight Training and Becoming a Peaceful Warrior with Dan Millman and Lewis Howes

  1. I almost cried seeing that you had Dan Millman on! I loved Way of the Peaceful Warrior… One of those books that change your life (he said that as I'm typing) I am so grateful… Thank you for having him on! Lifetime fan now… Peace and Love to you both!

  2. Amazing interview. You mentioned that you already had an interview with Mr. Dan Millman in 2015. I can not find this interview. Is it available on your channel? Thank you in advance for your help. Greetings from Poland. Evelyn ^^

  3. I love Dan Millman. So honest and beautiful. Yes, we are all enrolled in the hidden school. But when we open our eyes we begin to enroll in our classrooms. Thanks for these interviews. Love you, love your show.

  4. 5:31 – "I love quotations because they have power. A favorite quote for example by Mark Twain was, 'I've had many troubles in my life most of which never happened.' And people go wow that's true for me too. Because most of our troubles are in the past future in our imagination. They don't actually happen to us so quotes are reminders. And that's what I try to do through my writings and speak is remind people of what they already know but they tend to forget." — Dan Millman

  5. Amazing!! Learning to trust the process… Going through rough times, and today was specially challenging. HUGE THANKS TO LIFE FOR THAT… because it lead me to this video. It is true, everything happens for a greater future.

  6. This episode had a very calming ambience in it- probably it's a quality of Dan..It feels like listening to the wisdom of a great sage who although hasn't seen it all, although doesn't have all the answers but can still teach you a lot more than you can imagine

  7. I've listened to a lot of episodes of SOG but this is probably at my all time favorite episodes. i feel like Dan has so much wisdom to share and it's just so great to listen to. It's music to my ears.

  8. In this crazy world, this guy comes with his kind voice and simplifies and summaries everything that is actually important. Bit of discipline in everything you do and being kinder. Love it ❤

  9. I always learn so much from your interviews. I've been ruminating on Dan Millman's ideas… Inspiration passes, motivation comes and goes…Thrust your intuition…Feel a oneness with everyone you meet… We're not here to get rid of the ego, we're here to transcend it… Dream big, start small… I can't stop thinking about this. Thanks, Lewis.

  10. Was listening to this earlier on while driving home from a 3 hour trip. I must say that it the whole podcast was greatly delivered and contained amazing content! Probs will listen to it again 🙂 thanks Lewis

  11. I am not sure why Dan Millman recently showed up in my consciousness. I had no idea who he was. I listened to a Peaceful Warrior in the middle of the sleepless night and then more. Then watched the movie with my 9 year old son. It got me. Then watched this interview and this is what I needed for a long long long long long time.
Dan – by exhibiting your authenticity, your vulnerability you made me think I was worth something, that not all that happened to me and what I made happen is wrong. Everything in life is a lesson – so i transmuted my pain and anger into "OK, what is here to learn?" and let it go and move on. It is not the end of the world. In fact it is not even important!
I got , that if I just stay in the present and not go back to the past or future – i can actually be happy and present in my life again. Thank you very much for that – i really need this right now (haha in the present) . heart-heart-heart (imagine FB style :-))

  12. I've had that dream before! I was just telling my fiance two days ago, that I have a dream quite often where I have to take a test and didn't go to the class all semester. For some odd reason, I enrolled in some course but forgot about it until then. How crazy! I'm so grateful to have come across this episode, I know it's by no means of coincidence. Thank you, Lewis!

  13. I have subscribed on you tube to this page. Didn’t see your newer podcast from yesterday. Maybe I’m not on the right page.

I scroll through on your videos while I working at out at lunch . They are inspiring

  14. Just finished reading the book and it is definitely worth it! Again, a book that inspires and makes you travel without moving (at different levels). Pro tip: read all the books chronologically ( The Journeys of Socrates > Way of the Peaceful Warrior ['til the trips abroad] > Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior > The Hidden School  > Way of the Peaceful Warrior )

  15. The way Dan speaks is very relaxing and calming. The way he takes a pause and you can tell his level of comfort, oh man. This was a powerful one. Just finished reading his book "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" this morning.

  16. Knowledge is not wisdom, wisdom is doing it. I used to love this guy more than anything but today I realized that he is not my mentor, Sergei Ivanov is my real teacher but that also I doubt now. He is still fucked up after all these years, I am 100% sure he chose a fucked up wife or his wife chose a man poorly. Just ask him one question, are you happy? You'll get the answer.
