There is nothing wrong with taking your time to transition to an 80/10/10 raw vegan! Never rush it to ensure it is a permanent element in your time!

  1. I agree 100% with your message… take your time… after the 21 days fully raw challenge I am doing with Kristina, I will be doing Raw until 4. I think it is a more realistic approach for most people to help incorporate more healthy food into their diet when they are coming from the mainstream diet like myself. Well said 🙂

  2. Can you elaborate why eating so many calories is necessary for effective weight loss on the 80/10/10 diet, maybe go into the science behind it please? Perhaps you can suggest some books, articles, etc that support the 80/10/10 diet. It's really hard to break through the myth of carbs = bad! My apologies if you already have a vid on the subject, thanks!

  3. I practiced Bikram for years (while I was living in Asia~I TOTALLY understand take-out cravings!!!!!), and while I haven't practiced it now for years (haha), I LOVED being in the crazy temps!! Actually.. I'm eating breakfast right now, staring outside at HEAPS of snow. Your words made me crave a Bikram class :). You and your channel are FANTASTIC! Keep the vids comin'!!^^

  9. I've been on this lifestyle for almost 8 months and gained 4 pounds in the first 3 months. My weight hasn't gone down ever since, but I'm still being consistent, eating a LOT of fruits during the day and starches at night. I can't wait to start seeing the weight come off, but overall I feel much better than before — better energy, better skin, better mood, etc.
    I know my weight has to do with my past eating disorders and metabolic damage, and that's why people who have restricted calories in the past have to be patient. I know it's hard, but we NEED to give our bodies time to heal and become healthy. I started making videos about this subject on my channel, if you would like to check it out 🙂

  10. you are so inspiring ! I'm being vegan, mainly raw until 4 (but not all the time), since 3 weeks now. I feel like i've lost weight a bit, but it is such a slow process… sometimes i feel discouraged… I'm really happy to have found you on Youtube, because now i know i should'nt give up 🙂
