Gagik Tonoyan – Mr. Armenia – squats 370 kg at the Armenian Powerlifting Federation Triathlon on Sunday May 18, 2008, at the State Engineering University of Armenia gym in Yerevan, Armenia

  1. @rok2deth Speaking the truth is not hating. Whether you're competing in powerlifting or horshoes, you have to abide by the rules. This guy did not squat to legal depth, had an assist partner walk the weight out for him, and stumbled backwards at the top, all causes for red lights on their own.
Not to be an ass, but if your hairy Armenian brothers are so proud of their ugly chests, why do they compete in powerlifting with 5 layers of shirts on?

  2. @gramajo43 Did you even graduate high school? Do the math, moron – the conversion factor from kilograms to pounds is 2.2. So multiplying 370 kg x 2.2 lbs/kg = 814 lbs. So what were you saying about Ronnie Coleman??! Just for yer information, Gagik Tonoyan (the man in this video) is both a powerlifter AND a bodybuilder.

  3. @gramajo43 Ronnie Coleman also weighs about 297 lbs.(contest) and 330 lbs (offseason). Gagik Tonoyan weighs 198 lbs (contest) and 220 lbs (offseason). Pound for pound, Gagik Tonoyan is far stronger than Ronnie Coleman.
