Judges are insecured and not very competent. To the commentators: Hardal's problem is that the bar was not on the center of gravity (on his lower back) when the bar was at the highest extension of the arms and missed to the front when when he could not control the hips. Misplacing the center of gravity gentlemen, that all it takes in the jerk to miss.
The jury is not running a good meet, they are just interfering more than necessary in detriment of the athletes. A lot of wasted time. I do not like this new system, it is too much bureaucracy.
Li Fabin's easy jerk after a hard clean has a simple explanation, most Chinese athletes train for such a situation and have jerks well in excess of what they can clean. I am sure that Fabin can jerk over 182 kilos from the racks in training.
I was just scrolling through random wiki sites about weightlifters and i just saw that Naim Suleymanoglu did a 190 cj at 60 kilos. Sure beyond his greatness he was drugged 100% but that goes to show you what weight these athletes are lifting

the challenges needs to be looked at by a secondary jury, giving it back to the same jury makes no difference.
Bit of a messy competition with lots of lifters under performing. Nice work from Li though.
