  2. it just keeps your breathing really. people have a tendency to tense up and hold their breath while lifting. Breathing regularly slows the build up of lactic acid (which is the burn you feel) in your muscles.

  3. if you swing you might be able to lift more but it doesn't do shit because you are just using momentum to lift the extra weight rather than your muscles. if you want to build muscle and not just look cool then don't swing

  4. start the exercise off with an exhale..and the barbell hanging…remember to keep elbows in at sides, flexed and locked, and starting lifting…palms straight up all the way (USE ONLY STRAIGHT BARBELL IF POSSIBLE)…this way the bicep is contracted, and it will work the whole bicep muscle group…once your forearms touch your biceps, pause for a second, and inhale…lower bar and repeat

  6. hey man I read in a forum that it may be some kid of "tendonitis." I also read it may due to our forearms being too weak. My forearms are in fact very weak so maybe this is why it hurts so fucking bad when I do EZ curls. I also read preacher curls are best for biceps, even better than EZ curls (barbell curls = not recommended), so I have decided to stop doing EZ curls and I will order a preacher curl bench to do preacher curls from now on + bicep concentration curls. I will also have to go to

  7. to go to the gym so that I can use the cables for the biceps. Anyway: preacher curls + concentration curls + cable curls = big biceps. We don't need EZ curls since we can do preacher curls. But I am pretty sure it is due to my forearms being so fucking weak. I need to ask you are your forearms also very weak because if you say yes then my hypothesis is correct, and if you say no, then you and I have… tendonitis WTF… I'll wait for your response!
